Welcome to Lake Helen.
We are small, only 4 square miles in size and less than 3000 people. However we have been here for over 125 years.
Lake Helen has a wealth of historic homes from the 1800’s. Be sure to ask for the area map with a self-guided walking tour of some of the homes. We have a wonderful equestrian heritage and it is not uncommon to see riders or horse and wagon on a evening stroll through Lake Helen. Many of our streets are unpaved and covered by the canopy of magnificent oaks.
COME AND ENJOY OUR QUIET PEACEFUL SURROUNDINGS. THERE IS MUCH TO DISCOVER.

There are two projects that have been planned for Lake Helen to commemorate her 125th year. One is to demolish the old platform at Royal Park and build a new covered pavilion with a floating dock along with a boardwalk and wildlife observation deck along the southwestern edge of Lake Helen. The second project is to be two sign kiosks to be located on each side of Main Street between the Wells Fargo Bank and the Hayes Pipe Company.
Through 2013 events have been planned to celebrate Lake Helenʼs 125th anniversary and to raise funds for these projects and build awareness of our jubilee year.
